Move Raj Thackeray's cases to Delhi: SC
New Delhi, Jan 8: The Supreme Court on Friday, Jan 8, transferred seven cases of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray to Delhi.
Seven cases against Thackeray were registered in Bihar and Jharkhand for his alleged hate speeches against north Indians from Jan 2008.
A bench comprising Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan and B S Chauhan decided to transfer all proceedings relating to those cases to a Tis Hazari court.
Thackeray had sought transfer of all the cases to one place.
