London, Jan 5 (ANI): Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will escape any action from the Football Association over his blast after his side was knocked out by Leeds.

The United boss was furious at his side's performance in their FA Cup defeat at Old Trafford.

He slammed referee Chris Foy for adding only five minutes of second-half stoppage-time.

It was not enough for United to find an equaliser as they lost 1-0 to the League One side, The Sun reports.

Ferguson claimed the five minutes injury-time was an insult to the game.

That led to suggestions the FA might enforce the two-match touchline ban that was suspended until the end of next season following his verbal attack on Alan Wiley in October.

But the FA said they do not believe Ferguson's comments had crossed the boundary of acceptability, so he will face no charge. (ANI)
