According to official sources, Faiza Outalha told National Investigation Agency (NIA) that she was married to 48-year-old Headley, but had a divorce later.
The woman claims that she divorced Headley as he had affairs with several women. Sources have revealed that she also told the investigators about her husband's relations with some upcoming Bollywood actors and prominent Mumbai socialites.
She has also reportedly told the officials that Headley's activities in the hotel were suspicious, and both of them had visited the Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus.
Based on the woman's suspicious travels in and out of India, investigators also suspect that Outalha had carried out reconnaissance of some installations targeted by the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
On the information given by the ex-wife of the terror suspect, the NIA sleuths have reportedly questioned an American national in Goa who knew Headley.
The American, who works as a masseur, has been in and out of India, and had stayed in Manali and Goa with his Russian girlfriend.
He, however, is not a suspect in the case and has not violated any of the visa rules of the country.
