Ghaziabad, Jan 4: In the latest development in the Aarushi murder case, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a plea in the Ghaziabad High court to conduct narco-analysis test on Aarushi's parents, Nupur and Dr Rajesh Talwar.
Claiming that it has some lead in the case, the CBI counsel, Suresh Batra sought permission to conduct the test.
"The newly constituted team of CBI has found some fresh clues, therefore, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar's narco-tests are a must," Batra said.
In response, Dr Rajesh said that he was ready to undergo the narco-test.
Aarushi Talwar was found murdered in her residence on May 16, 2008.
The victim's father Dr Rajesh Talwar was arrested in connection with the case, but was released later due to lack of evidence.
