Dubai, Jan 4: A month after announcing the massive debt crisis, Dubai is all set to unveil the world's tallest building Burj Dubai on Monday, Jan 4.
Burj Dubai, which means Dubai Tower in Arabic, has been under construction since 2004 and reportedly stands 800 meters tall.
The exact height of Burj is not known as the developers insist that the information must be revealed after its official debut.
The opening ceremony of the tapered metal and glass skyscraper will be presided over by the ruler of Dubai, Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum.
The government hopes that the structure will help the country win back the confidence of the investors after the Nov 2009 fall in the markets when state-owned conglomerate Dubai World announced that it could not repay 60 billion dollars in loans.
