Alleging public officials on their negligence in the purchase of sub-standard bullet proof vests at exorbitant prices, Daundker in PIL said that Karkare's vests belong to those.

The petitioner said that he came across the fact on the missing file when he sought an inquiry into the corruption of the public official in purchase of bullet-proof vests.

Daundker said that he had assembled evidences which reveals merciless corruption on the part of public servants indulging in blatant violations of law in the high-value procurement of jackets.
