Chandigarh, Jan 1: The Sacred Heart school authorities, which allegedly expelled Ruchika Girhotra after the molestation incident, said it had never expelled her.
Father Thomas, spokesman for Chandigarh Shimla diocese, said the Sacred Heart school did not expel Ruchika but her name was struck off the rolls for non-payment of fees for six months.
Her father S C Girhotra had alleged that she was expelled in Sep 1990.
"After her name was struck off from the rolls we were told by school officials not to let Ruchika enter the school premises to prevent embarrassment. This amounts to expulsion," said Gorhotra.
The Chandigarh administration had asked her to file a report within a week on the allegation against the school, but the principal was out.
