Pak to raise issue of India's involvement in Baloch insurgency at apt forum: Gilani
Lahore, Dec 30 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has reiterated that Islamabad has evidence regarding New Delhi's involvement in Baloch insurgency, and that it would raise the issue at an 'appropriate time and forum'.
"I had discussed the issue with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt. There is evidence of Indian involvement in Balochistan, however, it is up to the government to decide which forum it will raise the issue on," The Daily Times quoted Gilani, as saying.
Gilani blamed New Delhi for the delay in the resumption of bilateral talks between both the countries despite Islamabad's repeated appeals.
"Comprehensive dialogue with India has to be resumed for any meaningful development, but unfortunately, New Delhi is shying away from the talks," Gilani said.
Commenting on the current political crisis, the Prime Minister rebuked reports about having differences with President Asif Ali Zardari.
Gilani stressed that he was running the government, while Zardari was looking after party's affairs.
He said there was no threat to the democratic government and that it enjoyed people's support. (ANI)
