London, Dec.29 (ANI): Coach Rafa Benitez has said that he will ditch players who have failed to deliver and added that he could try Turkish football star winger Arda Turan.
Liverpool chief Benitez came close to signing the Turkish star in the summer before bottling out of a nine million pound move, reports The Sun.
Money is tight at Anfield and the Reds' deadwood may have to be axed to raise cash for transfers.
Ryan Babel, Andrea Dossena and Andriy Voronin all look set to be sold.
Turan, 22, has a long list of admirers, including the Kop's Premie League rivals Arsenal.
But Benitez has been boosted by the news that Turan only has eyes for Anfield.
Turan said: "When I've finished my business at Galatasaray, I will be happy to move on. I most want to play at Liverpool because of the culture of the club and the fans." (ANI)
