Melbourne, Dec. 29 (ANI): Australian cricket captain Ricky Ponting may be just a few runs and 10 wickets away from becoming the most successful Test captain in history, but he does not seem to be enjoying the Boxing Day clash against Pakistan, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
He has fallen for low scores in both innings of the Test (a fifty plus score in the first innings and 12 in the second) and dropped a catch he would normally take blindfolded.
Now, talk has turned to Ponting's age, 35. Some are wondering whether his reflexes are betraying him.
If, as expected, Australia can record a victory in Melbourne, Ponting would have his 42nd Test win as a skipper, one more than Steve Waugh. No other Test captain in the game's history has managed more than 36. (ANI)
