Gujarat pioneers the production of Ultimate White Tiles

Morbi (Gujarat), Dec 25 (ANI): Morbi, a town in Gujarat has becomes the latest hub for production of white tiles.

The vitrified tiles unit of the Simpolo Ceramics company has launched 'Alaska White', the brand of ultimate white tiles.

80 percent of the total production of vitrified tiles in India is produced at the vitrified units of Morbi.

According to experts in the industry, the white tiles in the vitrified segment mark a revolution of sorts, as they are a product of years of hard work and exhaustive research.

Absolute whiteness of the vitrified tiles will enhance quality and the industry is hopeful that the demand for these aesthetically significant white tiles would grow by the day.

"We want to be the leader in the production of the vitrified product segment not in quantity but quality respect. There are a lot of manufactures who make quantity-wise material but they are not concerned with the quality. So, our aim was that whatever be the product we make, must be the benchmark. People should follow that sample of vitrified tiles. We can say, as it has been a year now that we have done a lot of parallel R and D.Our aim was that our tiles must be close to the natural beauty." said, Nivid Bhole, Ceramic Engineer and manager at the Simpolo vitrified tiles unit.

Chintan Patel Overa, Director Ultimate Tiles unit said that the industry has used state -of- the -art technology to achieve this distinction in their product. Patel informs that after this the edition of absolutely black tiles would follow.

"I am trying to give ultimate white tiles and ultimate black tiles, they are two types of tiles. You can purchase any tile in the market like say, Ivory black. As a customer you want white tiles and you want value for the money, so go for ultimate white, Alaska White. Because this tile is the whitest tile in the industry, in the vitrified industry." said Chintan Patel.

According to the researchers of the industry the promising Nano Technology has also contributed to the success behind launching the white revolution in the tiles industry. Reportedly, the Simpolo group has exported the technology from Italy.

Morbi has more than 260 vitrified units. (ANI)
