Indians named in Berkeley Dean, President List
Washington, Dec 23: Three Indian students have been qualified for the Dean's list and President's list of the prestigious Berkeley college in New York.
Berkeley College President Dario A Cortes announced the names of Anil Gopalreddy of Bangalore, a student at the Lower Manhattan Extension Centre in New York, and Mital Patel of Baroda, a student at the Middlesex Campus in Woodbridge, New Jersey for the Dean's list for the Summer 2009 Quarter.
Cortes applauded Atit Kothari who made it to the President's List at Berkeley College for the Summer 2009 Quarter.
"Berkeley College is proud to recognize Atit for outstanding academic achievement. Students who reflect this level of dedication to their studies become our future leaders," he said.
Kothari is from Mumbai and was a student at the Westchester Campus in White Plains, New York.
A grade point average of 4.00 or more with a minimum of 12 academic credits is the criteria for Berkeley college students to qualify for the President's List.
