London, Dec 18 (ANI): British Minister for Women and Equality Harriet Harman has called for Page 3 girls to be banned as she believes having saucy pictures at the workplace could offend some workers.
Harman's new Dignity and Respect at Work policy could class pin-up calendars as harassment.
However 59-year-old Harman's move has been met with objections from the Page 3 girls.
"I have never heard of anything so ridiculous. It's not meant to be taken seriously and it's part of what makes Britain great. To get rid of it would just be madness," the Daily Star quoted Porchia Watson, 22, as saying.
Fellow babe Natasha Marley, 25, added: "There's nothing wrong with looking at people nude, it's natural. It's not demeaning, it's empowering."
And Rosie Whiteman, 22, added: "I bet Harriet's had a peek. She's probably jealous because she can't do it." (ANI)
