Lahore, Dec. 17 (ANI): Pakistan speedster Sohail Tanvir has obtained an Indian visa, which has boosted his chances of playing in the third edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
After receiving the visa, Tanvir, who played for the Rajasthan Royals in the inaugural edition of the cash rich T20 league, said he is contact with the league's administration and that the ball was in their court.
Tanvir also clarified that he can not take part in fresh auctions, as he had already signed a 3-year contract with the Rajasthan Royals team.
Earlier, talking to media persons at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) here, the left-arm bowler said he is eager to get back in the national team.
"I am working hard for making a comeback in the national team. I am hopeful of becoming a part of the national ODI squad for the series against Australia," Tanvir said. (ANI)
