Raj Thackeray provided with 'Y' security
Mumbai, Dec 17: MNS chief Raj Thackeray has been provided with 'Y' security following death threats by an organisation in Bihar.
"Earlier this week, Raj received a letter from an organisation in Bihar which said one of their members would kill Raj as he is dividing the nation," Raj's lawyer Shayaji Nagare said.
Nagare said that a complain has been lodged at Shivaji Park police station in central Mumbai with regard to the letter which was signed by someone called Ashok Kumar Singh, the president of the organisation.
Acting on the complain, the Maharashtra government has provided Raj with 'Y' security.
Police said that two carbine-wielding policemen has been assigned to protect Raj.
