Tiger Woods 'regularly paid mistresses for their silence'

New York, Dec 16 (ANI): Tiger Woods used to pay his 'mistresses' regularly to make sure that they keep quiet about their sexual affairs, says a new report.

According to the report by MSNBC, several women who said they were involved with the golfer claimed that Woods paid them on a regular basis.

The women said that there was no official contract involved, but the understanding was that the money was for their silence about their involvement with him.

"The money comes via a wire transfer," the New York Post quoted one woman as telling the site's Scoop gossip blog.

"There's no contract about it, there's no discussion about what it's for, but it's implied that it's in exchange for keeping quiet about his affair," the woman added.

The amount ranged from 5,000 dollars to 10,000 dollars a month, though may have been as high as 20,000 dollars.

According to TMZ.com, Woods also was paying women for their silence before he was even married. (ANI)
