New Delhi, Dec 16: The Lok Sabha was adjourned twice on Wednesday, Dec 16, when MPs from various parties accused the government on the issue of price rise.
As soon as the Lok Sabha met for the day, members from BJP, Left, SP, BSP and Shiv Sena claimed that the government was not doing enough and said it has completely failed to control price rise.
Following the protests from Opposition parties, both the Houses of the Parliament were first adjourned till 12 pm then, in view of the continuing protests, Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day.
In the din, TDP members raised slogans against creation of Telangana separate state and demanded a unified Andhra Pradesh.
As members did not relent, the House was adjourned for 30 minutes. Similar scenes were witnessed when the House reassembled.
The TDP members displayed placards saying 'we want united AP' while some members from the treasury benches held 'Jai Telangana' placards.
As the din continued, Speaker Meira Kumar adjourned the House for the second time till 12:00 pm.
