Hyderabad, Dec 14: As expected the Andhra Pradesh Assembly was adjourned sine die on Monday, Dec 14 amid slogan-shouting and protests against the separation of the state.
With the MLAs disrupting the house and shouting slogans such as 'Jai Andhra' and 'Jai Telangana', the speaker N Kiran Kumar was forced to adjourn the House for the day.
Earlier, the assembly was adjourned for 30 minutes as it was convened after protests against the separation of Telangana rocked the house.
The state is entangled in political chaos since the Centre's approval for a separate Telangana to be craved out of Andhra Pradesh.
With over 120 legislators resigning and anti-Telangana protests crippling the state's peace and normalcy, the ruling Congress in the state and the central leadership are expected to meet for intense discussions over the issue.
