'Woods' wife's life turned upside down in just one day'

London, Dec 12 (ANI): Professional golfer Jesper Parnevik has stated that Tiger Woods' wife Elin Nordegren's life has been turned upside down in just one day.

Parnevik, 44, had introduced Nordegren to Woods when she was working as a nanny in 2001.

"I vouched for the guy. And uh, I was wrong," the Daily Express quoted him as saying in an interview recorded for a US sports channel.

"I'm sure she felt very lonely and very small in this whole hoopla and chaos when her whole world was just turned upside down in pretty much 24 hours.

"I was just shocked and pretty much very disappointed in the whole thing," he added.

Former Ryder Cup star Parnevik is the only golfer on the PGA tour to break ranks and openly criticise Woods for his alleged affairs with at least 10 women. (ANI)
