Terror camps in Pak will affect them only: Pillai
Suchetgarh (Jammu), Dec.12 (ANI): Union Home Secretary G.K Pillai said on Saturday that the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan remains intact, and if Islamabad does not take steps to dismantle it, that country will be the only one to suffer.
Talking to media persons at Suchetgarh in the R S Pura sector of the India-Pakistan international border, Pillai said: "That's Pakistan's problem, we have to remain vigilant. See with Pakistan, we have always told them they have to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure and we will keep continuing to do so. I think that state realizes that they have to do it because otherwise it will affect their own country".
Reacting to ULFA chief Paresh Barua's statement that there would be no talks with the government, Pillai said: "Paresh Barua is a terrorist on the run, he is hiding somewhere, we think on the borders between Maymaar. And, I think, he has quiet discredited himself. He is staying in Bangladesh and literally acting against the interests of his own state. So, he will have to understand the reality of Assam. Once he understands that reality, I think he will then realize that it is better to come for talks than to sit in the jungle and kill innocent people." By Tahir Nadeem Khan (ANI)
