New Delhi, Dec 11: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday, Dec 11, assured Andhra Pradesh's MPs that nothing will be done in haste on the creation of separate state of Telangana.
According to reports, PM has also announced that the core committee of the Congress party would again meet over the issue and work out the way forward.
However, no time frame has been indicated as to when the meet will happen.
MPs, MLAs from Coastal Andhra and Telangana conveyed to the PM all their concerns regarding safeguarding the interests of people from their region.
Addressing the media, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Rosaiah appealed for peace and sought the cooperation of all political parties to tide over the crisis.
Rosaiah made the appeal in Hyderabad after 128 MLAs in the 295-member Assembly resigned to protest the creation of Telangana.
