Washington, Dec 10 (ANI): Rachel Uchitel, the first woman to come forward about alleged affairs with Tiger Woods, has spoken out to insist: "I'm not a whore. I'm not a tramp."
The 34-year-old nightclub hostess told OK! magazine in the US that she was not a "homewrecker", reports E!Online.
After canceling her press conference last week, where she was supposed to discuss her relationship with Woods, Uchitel, without addressing the allegations directly, said: "In every story you need a villain and a hero. I've been characterised as a villain.
"I've been characterized as a villain. People have called me a homewrecker, gold digger, tramp, whore. I make mistakes, but I'm not those things. I have very good qualities. When you're judged by the nation, it's really difficult. It's horrible.
"I'm not a whore. I'm not a tramp. I'm not an escort. I'm not stupid or a bimbo. I'm very strong. I will survive this. At the same time, I'm vulnerable. I'm not here to make myself into a victim, but I want people to remember I'm human-there's a whole other side to me. I'm caring and generous and the type of person you'd want to be friends with. People have to give me a chance."
Uchitel was named by the National Enquirer as Woods' alleged mistress in the week of the golfer's bizarre car crash outside his Florida home. Since then, a stream of women have come forward with allegations. (ANI)
