Washington, Dec 9: In the latest update on David Coleman Headley, FBI has revealed that cell phone and the used by Headley were registered under the names of dead persons.

Stating that Headley was leading a double life, FBI said that the name Daood Gilani was cover-up.

The announcement by the FBI came at the backdrop of the visit made by the team of officials from FBI and the Justice Department to Pakistan to probe further into Headley's terrorists links.

"We have been having close consultations with Pakistani authorities in this investigation and the joint FBI-Department of Justice team will meet officials of various government agencies," US Embassy spokesman.

Indian investigation team has been briefed about the investigation on Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana, who was arrested by FBI along with Headley for plotting terrorist attacks on India and Denmark.

On Monday, Dec 7, Headley was charged with 26/11 terror attacks by FBI.

However, Headley denied his involvement in Mumbai terror attacks at his arraignment in Chicago court on Wednesday, Dec 9.
