Obama to mention Afghan at Nobel Peace Prize award
Washington, Dec 8: Just days ahead of the Nobel Peace Prize award, the White house informed that US president Barack Obama will accept the award as a war president.
White House spokesman, Robert Gibbs said that not only will the president accept the prize as a war president but his acceptance speech will also be centered on the troop deployment in Afghanistan.
"Obama will address directly the notion that many have wondered which, is the juxtaposition of the timing for the Nobel Peace Prize and his commitment to add more troops into Afghanistan," said Gibbs.
The Nobel Peace Prize will be awarded on Thursday, Dec 10 in Oslo.
