BSY inaugurates new e-governance initiative
Bangalore, Dec 8: Karnataka Government has launched the Karnataka State Wide Area Network (KSWAN) that will establish a state information highway connecting its 2300 offices across the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa said, "Karnataka has been a leader in the area of e-governance, and the KSWAN will help tone up administration."
Yeddyurappa described it as a boon to ensure better delivery of government services and said it will help to enhance the efficiency of administration.
