Melbourne, Dec 8 (ANI): Lisa Robertson, the former Qantas air hostess who had sex with actor Ralph Fiennes in an aircraft toilet, has been ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
The 41-year-old pleaded guilty to concealing the money from bankruptcy proceedings after Nine Network paid for a kiss-and-tell interview of her affair aboard a Qantas flight from Darwin to Mumbai in 2007.
The Melbourne Magistrates' Court was told Robertson's encounter with Fiennes gained her worldwide media attention.
"But since that time your life has spiralled downwards," News.com.au quoted magistrate Phillip Goldberg as telling her during the court hearing.
Robertson, a former NSW police officer and Qantas airline stewardess, started abusing alcohol after the incident and she had suffered from depression and anxiety, he said.
She admitted to hiding her earnings, gained from telling her story, from a continuing bankruptcy proceeding against her.
She was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service and be assessed for treatment for drug and alcohol problems.
Robertson will be back in court regarding separate assault charges related to an incident outside a Melbourne restaurant earlier this year. (ANI)
