Woods needs to get back to golfing to repair his reputation: Experts

By Super Admin

New York, Dec 7(ANI): Public relations experts believe that American Golfer Tiger Woods should get back to playing golf and stay quit if he wants to repair his reputation.

The World No. 1's game has perhaps been the last thing on his mind this week after a flurry of reports emerged indicating he cheated on his wife Elin Nordegren, whom he has paid millions to stay with to avoid further damage.

"He needs to bring the attention back to his primary expertise, which is playing golf. The quicker he's on the course winning, the better," New York Daily News quoted Sean Cassidy, President of Dan Klores Communications, as saying.

While, Howard Rubenstein, President of Rubenstein Communications, said: "He shouldn't say anything more about his social life. He ought to get back to his golf."

Experts also say that Woods should avoid following in the footsteps of other high-profile men caught cheating and resist the urge to trot out his wife in a bid to show everything's dandy at home.

"He should not do some phony photo op with his family if things with his family are genuinely dysfunctional. It has to feel authentic. If it doesn't, it's even worse," Cassidy added.

The billionaire sportsman became embroiled in controversy after smashing his car outside his Florida home on Thanksgiving, seconds after reportedly having a heated argument with Nordegren over his alleged affair with New York socialite Rachel Uchitel.

Both Woods and Uchitel have denied the rumours, but since then as many as nine women were said to have stepped forward, including 24-year-old former reality television contestant Jaimee Grubbs and Las Vegas nightclub promoter Kalika Moquin, with claims of romancing the golfer.

Woods, 33, confessed to letting his family down with "transgressions", promising to "strive to be a better person, and the husband and father that my family deserves." (ANI)
