In what is being considered as an attempt to embody the changing image of the state, Modi reportedly wore faded denims and a polo pullover - a designer outfit in navy blue with denim patches across the chest and a grey woollen scarf around his neck to Rannotsav.
Tucking his hands in his pockets, the Chief Minister, who was wearing leather slip-ons for footwear to match the attire, walked away alone into the salt moors in a mood of introspection, reports a news agency.
