London, Dec 7(ANI): Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti reckons that defeat against Manchester City would not derail the Blues from winning the Premier League title.
City's 2-1 Eastlands win ended a run of five straight wins and five clean sheets for the Blues.
"We do not need to have a big reaction because the team is still in a good moment. We have two points more than the second team and we don't have a reason to be worried," The Sun quoted Ancelotti, as saying.
Chelsea had arrived at Eastlands five points clear of the chasing pack having dismantled Arsenal at the Emirates six days earlier, and their rampant start against City suggested another merciless victory was on the cards for the team.
Goals each from City strikes Emmanuel Adebayor and Carlos Tevez, and a spectacular 84th-minute penalty save by goalkeeper Shay Given ensured Chelsea's defeat.
Midfielder Michael Ballack said that the team was disappointed despite an overall good performance.
"We are disappointed, but we have to remember the good things - the way we fought back and the fact we deserved a draw," Ballack said. (ANI)
