London, Dec.6 (ANI): The management at Manchester United has decided to come clean on its expenditures of the last 130 years.
With 55,000 season ticket-holders paying up to 1,000-pounds-a-head each year, club fans have every right to wonder and know where the money goes.
This closely guarded secret is now being brought out into the open for the first time in United's illustrious history.
According to News of The World, a special Sport of the World investigation reveals the extraordinary costs behind the most famous club in the world.
An official document detailing a whopping total of 287 different companies paid in excess of 93.85 million pounds during a two-year period up to the end of May last year.
The club boasts an annual turnover of 250 million pounds in running the Theatre of Dreams.
However, the 287 firms on the United payroll cover the most diverse range of professions - from magicians to demolition experts; from cabinet makers to pilots; from dry cleaners to wine merchants; from surveyors to school teachers; from drainage experts to frozen food suppliers and from clowns to estate agents.
The spending includes all the necessary services United need to function as a top Premier League club.
But the exact figures are not available because they have been grouped in seven separate categories. (ANI)
