London, Dec.4 (ANI): England star David Beckham has credited coach Fabio Capello and his training staff for giving the national squad the mental strength for next year's World Cup in South Africa.
"Fabio Capello and his staff have given us this mentality, that we can beat anyone. That's a positive we now have as a team. Look at the campaign. We topped the group and went into every game believing we could win. If you are going to go far in the competition you are going to have to beat the best teams," The Sun quoted Beckham, as saying.
"At this point, when you go into a World Cup, I don't think you worry about who you're playing against. It's great to be seeded," he added.
Capello, however, admits that: "It will be a great test, the hardest test of me as a manager."
"The next five months will be really important to decide everything. I work for this. It's my job. I want to reach the final and I have big confidence in my team, always. We have played against the best teams in the world and I know the value of the opponents and I know the value of my team. I have big confidence in my team," Capello said. (ANI)
