Woods on Wednesday, Dec 2 posted an apology on his website regretting his transgressions with all of his heart.
This comes after a Los Angeles cocktail waitress, Jaimee Grubbs surfaced, claiming that she was in a 31-month affair with the married golfer.
Grubbs who revealed this in an interview with UsWeekly even made a voice mail of Woods public.
"Um, can you please, uh, take your name off your phone. My wife went through my phone. And, uh, may be calling you. ... You gotta do this for me. Huge. Quickly. All right. Bye," Woods is heard saying in the voice mail.
Apart from this there are other reports that another woman, Rachel Uchitel, a New York bar hostess will be admitting her affair with Woods. A news conference is scheduled to take place on Thursday, Dec 3.
Tiger Woods, on the other side, remained at home five days after the Friday, Nov 27 car crash and has requested privacy.
"But no matter how intense curiosity about public figures can be, there is an important and deep principle at stake which is the right to some simple, human measure of privacy," Woods wrote on his website.
