The incident took place when Warsi was campaigning in Luton a London suburb on Monday, Nov 30.
Fundamentalists who took objection to the way she dressed and claimed that the Baraonness was in support of violence against Muslims in Afghanistan, hurled abuses and eggs at her, say media reports.
The Pakistani origin lawmaker challenged the men for a debate, but the protesters did not listen to what she had to say. Video footage of the incident shows Warsi with egg in her hair and on her jacket.
The House of Lords member later lashed out at the protesters dubbing them 'a bunch of idiots who do not represent the majority of British Muslims.'
