Headley case: Brit claims of tip-off to FBI
London, Nov 27: After reports on enticing possibility of Headley being a US undercover agent, British authorities now claim that FBI had been tipped off by them about David Coleman Headley, who was arrested by FBI for plotting terror attacks on India on Oct 3.
British intelligence which had earlier nabbed another US terrorist suspect, Najibullah Zazi, for allegedly plotting attacks on New York subway, said that they had provided US officials with vital information about Headley, which eventually led to his arrest in Chicago.
While India is trying to establish Headley's link to Mumbai terror attacks, he has been charged with a number of terrorist offences in Chicago.
It had been reported that Headley had done a recce of the attacked sites in India, with Nariman House being one of them.
