Mumbai, Nov 27: After inviting the ire of 26/11 trial court judge with his 'irresponsible' statement that he did not care about the affidavits of the witness filed by the prosecution, Ajmal Kasab's defence lawyer, Abbas Kazmi reportedly apologised to the court on Friday, Nov 27.

However, this was not his initial reaction. In the morning when the proceedings started, Kazmi reacted strongly saying that he was mentally disturbed with the court's observations, reports India Today.

Subsequently, the lawyer calmed down and tendered his apology to the court. The judge who received his apology, reportedly withdrew his remark terming Kazmi a 'liar'.

On Thursday, Nov 26, Kazmi caused a ruckus in the special court when he said that he was 'least bothered about affidavits of witnesses filed by the prosecution." Coming down heavily up on his 'misconduct', judge Tahaliyani issued a notice asking him why he should not be dismissed for this kind of behaviour.
