Mumbai, Nov 27: In a wave of global sympathy for the slain Jewish couple Rivka and Gavriel Holtzberg, who were killed in Nariman house during the 26/11 terror attacks, 500 new born babies named after them over the past one year since the couple were killed.
According to Israeli Magazine 'Chabad', which has regularly dedicated columns to the couple has details of 64 toddlers displayed on it out of the 500 toddlers which the magazine claims have been named after the rabbi and his wife.
The article written in the magazine claims that the list of toddlers is still incomplete.
"The above list is incomplete. For example, we know that on that same Tuesday when the funeral was held, two circumcisions were celebrated in Kiev, Ukraine, with both boys given the name Gavriel Noach. We don't, however, have their full names or pictures," the article said.
Chabad has been inviting details about the babies named after the couple along with their stories, photographs and videos.
The couple's child Moshe was saved by his nanny Sandra Samuel who managed to escaped with him when his parents were shot by terrorists inside the Nariman house.
