Thursday, Nov 26, 2009 marks the first anniversary of the gruesome 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks that killed more than just the figure that the death toll reads, and injured more than just bodies of individuals.
Politically too India has achieved a great deal in moving Pakistan and other responsible authorities to take action against the perpetrators.
After continually denying the nationality of the terrorists, in Jan 2009 Pakistan Information Minister Sherry Rehman officially accepted Ajmal Amir's nationality as Pakistani. In Feb 2009, Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik, in a televised news briefing, confirmed that parts of the attack had been planned in Pakistan.
And almost after whole year Pakistan indicted the Lashkar-e-Toiba head, Lakhvi and six others for plotting and carrying out the attacks, just a day ahead of the first anniversary on Wednesday, Nov 25, 2009.
India has also learnt a great deal on the operations through the lone surviving terrorist detained in India -Ajmal Amir Kasab.
