New Delhi, Nov 25: The central security personnel, trained in jungle warfare techniques is gearing up for its all out offensive against Naxals staring from March, 2010.
Over 60,000 central security personnel comprising of CRPF, ITBP and BSF who have started out on their respective area of operation are undergoing though familiarisation process.
They will also be joined by the state police personnel along with commandos of the newly raised 10-battalion strong Commando Battalion for Resolute Action.
It has been reported that the security personnel have redrawn their strategies to combat 7000-10,000 armed Naxals operating across the country.
The operation was reportedly scheduled to start on Nov, 2009 but it had to be postponed due to Maharashtra and Jharkhand elections.
