London, Nov 24: The day two of the year-end ATP World Tour Finals turned out to be an exciting one as Robin Soderling returned to torment Rafael Nadal, while Novak Djokovic made an impressive come back on Monday, Nov 23.
The 25-year-old Swede, who ended Rafa's unbeaten French Open run in May 2009, defeated the world No 2 again securing a 6-4, 6-4 win in a group match in London's O2 arena.
Meanwhile, Djokovic thrashed Russia's Nikolay Davydenko in three sets to claim a 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 victory.
The next Group B match will see Nadal and Davydenko battle it out.
In a Group A match scheduled for Tuesday, Nov 24, Roger Federer and local favorite Andy Murray will clash.
