Jharkhand: Maoists blow up school
Giridih, Nov 24: In an attempt to prevent security forces from using schools as shelters during their anti-naxal operations, Maoists triggered the blast at a school building in Jharkhand's Giridih district late Monday, Nov 23 night.
In blast has damaged Manjiladih Primary School and police has been rushed to the spot, district Superintendent of Police Ravi Kant Dhan said.
There are reports that Maoist have also pasted posters in the district calling for a poll boycott.
Jharkhand is scheduled to go into polling from Wednesday, Nov 25.
