Mumbai, Nov 20: Making a communally sensitive statement, Bal Thackeray, Shiv Sena chief vowed on Nov 19, that the Sena will construct Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Calling it to be a symbol of Sena's sacrifice for Hindutva in the editorial of the Sena's mouth piece 'Saamna', Thackeray lauded the Kothari brothers, who were responsible for demolishing the domes of the masjid for their bravery.
"Kothari brothers, who demolished the domes of Masjid and hosted a saffron flag there were Shiv Sainiks and I am proud of them," Thackeray said.
In response to SP MLA Abu Asim Azmi's announcement to rebuild Babri Masjid at Ayodhya, Thackeray said that the Sena will shatter the dreams of anyone who dares to dream of rebuilding Babri Masjid, adding the the attack on Azmi in the Maharastra assembly by MNS was a mild slap.
Urging the Hindus to stand together against Muslim attacks, Thackeray said that the country is under the threat of fundamentalist Muslims.
"Fundamentalist Muslim is the biggest threat to the country and we need to fight against it. Except some like Salim Khan, Javed Akhtar, Mukhtar Abbas and Farooq Abdullah, the rest are trying to destroy our country," he said.
