London, Nov.20 (ANI): Rival team bosses are tipping Manchester City to break into the top four of the Premier League this season.
A survey of all 20 Premier League managers found that 80 per cent believe Mark Hughes' side will end the stranglehold of Manchester United, Chelsea Arsenal and Liverpool, reports The Sun.
No team has managed to break this domination since Everton grabbed fourth spot in the 2004-05 season.
Barclays, sponsor of the Premier League and title sponsor of the League Managers' Association, asked the 20 men in charge about their thoughts and predictions for the current season.
Chelsea are the favourites for the title with 10 of the bosses - 50 per cent - choosing the Blues ahead of current champions United, who got eight votes.
City's 25-million-pound new boy Emmanuel Adebayor was picked by 30 per cent as the signing of the season, ahead of Sunderland's Darren Bent on 20 per cent.
Adebayor's Eastlands teammate Gareth Barry polled 15 per cent, with Liverpool's Glen Johnson getting 10 per cent.
When asked which English prospect would make the biggest impact this season, a resounding 66 per cent chose Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell, 18.
Liverpool hit man Fernando Torres was picked by 45 per cent of managers to scoop the Barclays Golden Boot Award as top scorer, despite his hernia. (ANI)
