New Delhi, Nov 20: After the pay per second tariff, Airtel intensified the price-war by slashing its roaming rates by 60 per cent.
Airtel introduced its Turbo plan which offers incoming calls while on roaming for 60 paise per minute.
On roaming, local and STD outgoing calls to Airtel connections the charges will be 60 paise per minute, while calls made to other networks while on roaming will be charged 80 paise per minute.
Airtel, which boasts of 'competitively superior, differentiated service', claims that its new tariff would led to 60 per cent saving for its subscribers in comparison to tariffs offered by other operators and other plans.
The plan is available for both prepaid and postpaid connections. Prepaid subscribers can avail the plan through a Rs 98 voucher which comes with a validity of one year.
