Bomb blast at Peshwar's Kyber road kills 5
Peshawar, Nov 19: A blast rocked one of the busiest main roads in Pakistan's Peshwar killing at least five people and injuring over 20.
The bomb blast took place at the Kyber Road on Thursday, Nov 19. Initial reports suggest that the attack was launched by a suicide bomber.
Following the blast, the authorities decided to close down the city's schools.
Khyber Road is an important area in Peshawar as a court is located here. North West Frontier Province Governor and the Chief Minister"s residences are also reportedly located close to the spot where the blast took place.
This particular region of Peshawar was also targeted last week when a car bomb detonated on the same road near the Pakistani intelligence offices.
