Police nabs key aides of Pak spy in Lucknow

Lucknow, Nov 17: Two key-aides of Pakistan spy, Jabbar alias Syed Amir Ali who was arrested in Lucknow, has nabbed by the joint team of Delhi Police and UP Special task force on Tuesday, Nov 17.

However there are mixed reports regarding the identity of the Ali's aides key aides and the helped given to Ali by these two aides.

While some reports identified them as Mohd Arshad and Chaand, in another report one of the aide has been identified as Khalil.

According to Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) A K Jain, Arshad and Chaand have prepared fake papers including address proof for Ali.

But another report state that Khalil had helped ALi in procuring the passport on payment of Rs 14000.

The suspected Pakistan spy was arrested from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on suspicion of spying by immigration officers.

Upon the arrest, maps and photographs of defence and other sensitive installations in central and western Uttar Pradesh was found with Ali.

It was reported he was gathering information about the upcoming Common Wealth games to report it to his bosses in ISI.

Both the aides including Ali will be charged under Official Secrets Act and the Passport Act.
