'Missing' Koda surfaces in hometown
Ranchi, Nov 13: Former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda was surfaced at his home town Chaibasa hours after Income Tax officials said he had "disappeared" from his home in the state capital Friday, Nov 12.
Koda, without informing the officials, went by road to Chaibasa, 130 km from Ranchi, to meet his father Rasik Koda, who is said to be ill.

A senior Income Tax official on Friday, Nov 13, said the Former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda has "disappeared" from his home.
According to Ujjawal Choudhary, director Income Tax investigation, Koda had told probe officials he wanted to rest and asked them to come in the afternoon.
However, when they came to quiz him at the appointed time in the afternoon, Koda was not there, said the official.
Chief Minister Madhu Koda was interrogated for his role in a Rs 2,500 crore money laundering scam.
