London, Nov.12 (ANI): Brawn GP have told Formula One Jenson Button to boost his income with sponsorship deals, as his salary demands will not be met.
Button, 29, wrapped up the Formula One world title in Brazil last month after taking a five million pound pay-cut last year to help his team stay afloat.
A Brawn statement said there was "a 99 per cent chance" Button would stay.
"We can offer a higher proportion of driver freedom and that will probably be the route we go. Jenson has some freedom for his own endorsements," he added.
Button has been linked with a move to McLaren, reports The Sun. (ANI)
