Terry's dad barred from local bar after 'cocaine deal'

By Super Admin

London, Nov 9(ANI): England skipper John Terry's father Ted Terry has been barred from his local bar in Essex after being caught on camera selling cocaine there.

Ted was caught on tape handing an undercover News of the World reporter three grams of the Class A drug and also admitted to taking it himself, saying: "The stuff's all right. I get off on it."

The deal took place in the toilets of the Unit 4 wine bar, just yards from Ted's Chafford Hundred, Essex house. He also encouraged the reporter to try the cocaine and boasted about its quality.

The manager of the bar Essex, revealed that the 55-year-old was a regular in the club, but would not be allowed to drink there in future.

"He is banned from coming in. We're yet to hear his version of events, but it doesn't look good," The Sun quoted Ted was saying.

The undercover journalist was posing as a chauffeur getting drugs for a rich businessman. The deal was struck at 120 pounds for three wraps. Ted also asked the "chauffeur" not to tell his boss of his link to the 160,000 pounds-a-week Chelsea superstar, who scored the goal in his side's 1-0 win against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

"This is just between me and you. Don't tell him that I'm John Terry's dad. I can't have this going back," Ted said.

However, a member of bar staff defended Ted, saying he wasn't a drug dealer.

"He's a decent, happy-go-lucky bloke. He hasn't done anything wrong. I've been there for years and I would know if he had," he said.

John has already been left embarrassed by his mum Sue, when she was nicked for an 800 pound shoplifting spree earlier in the year. (ANI)
