Elvis Presley's hair to be auctioned
London, Nov 8: A British auction house said that it is selling a strand of Elvis Presley's hair preserved for decades by a fan.
The piece of hair is owned by Thomas B Morgan Jnr which was given to him by Presley's personal barber, Homer Gill Gilleland in 2002.
The hair has a guide price of 150 pounds to 250 pounds ($250 to $415), a online news reported.
It will be put up for auction at Henry Aldridge and Son in Devizes along with other Presley items including a dessert plate owned and used by the icon.
After Presley's death in 1977, Gilleland is said to have started selling the hair in a souvenir shop on the street opposite the singer's home Graceland in Memphis in US.
