Saudi police seize Al Qaeda weapons
Dubai, Nov 2: A cache of arms and ammunition belonging to Al-Qaeda has been discovered by Saudi police in a vacant house in Riyadh after a revelation by the arrested Al-Qaeda members in Aug 2009.
Saudi Press Agency quoted Interior Ministry Spokesman, Maj Gen Mansour Al-Turki that the weapons which were found buried under a concrete slab in vacant house, 150km north of Riyadh included 281 Kalashnikov assault rifles, 250 magazines and 35 cases containing 41,250 rounds of ammunition.
While the arrested suspects are on being interrogated to find the source through which the weapons entered the country, the honor of the house is absconding.
